Spice things up this holiday with a homemade gift like this handcrafted hot pepper chili oil.
- Olive oil
- Dried peppers (pepperoncini)
Pour olive oil into a pan and heat. Only for a bit - we don’t want it to begin to smoke.
Let it cool.
Break up the dried peppers into the oil.
Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Strain the oil before putting it into your desired container. It’s your choice whether you want to remove the the pepper pieces and/or seeds or not. Note: the seeds are what makes it nice and spicy!
